ARCHDIOCESAN BAKERY:
With the creation of more secondary schools and the increase in the number of students in the Archdiocese of Bamenda, it became necessary for the Archdiocese to have its own bakery in order to produce good quality bread at reasonable prices for the various colleges. For this reason, the Archdiocesan Bakery was started on the 5th August, 2008 with the main aim to supply bread to our colleges under clean and healthy conditions. This Bakery has a manager and a team of 13 workers. When the Bakery started, local ovens were being used for production but now they have electric machines that have facilitated their work and make them to meet up with the needs and demands of the various Institutions. Through the Bakery, employment has been provided to some Cameroonians and some Christians around this vicinity also purchase bread from the Bakery.

The Archdiocesan Bakery bakes bread for all Catholic Colleges and institutions in the Archdiocese of Bamenda. The Bakery has a Manager, Br David Ekokobe a Brother of St Martin de Porres, with three technicians - Ncham Eric, Toh Linus, and Bonhoge Julius. Parcelling and general labour is ensured by Glory Bih, Ngwa Charles, Akwayi Titus, Talkpou Nathalie,Shu Joshua, and Wankan Emmanuel. Ambe Jerome and Che Elvis are the drivers who ensure that the bread gets to the different institutions daily. The following were appointed on 11 June 2015 as members of the Board of Directors:
the Catholic Education Secretary; Representatives of Archdiocesan Colleges; Principals of Archdiocesan Colleges; the Bursars of Catholic Colleges; the Manager of the Bakery; the Archdiocesan Financial Secretary; Principals of non Catholic Colleges benefitting from the Bakery; Representative of the Workers; the Archdiocesan Finance Controller.
