On Sunday 13 th April, 2008 the Archbishop of Bamenda officially inaugurated the Archdiocesan Book Centre and on Monday 14 th April, he wrote a Pastoral Letter introducing ABC as an "Apostolate" to bring Christ to others through the written         word. There is a manager running this bookshop trained by the Pauline Sisters in Lagos for this purpose. This Centre sells a wide variety of Christian Literature especially those published by the Paulines and other Church items like Sacred Vessels and Vestments. The book Centre also makes available text books for Catholic Primary and Secondary Schools as well as textbooks needed by the students of the Catholic University of Cameroon (CATUC) Bamenda. The Archdiocesan Book Centre specializes in selling Christian Literature. Situated next to the Aula Magna of the Catholic University of Cameroon (CATUC) Bamenda, it occupies the premises of the old Catholic Education Secretariat in Mankon. Miss Kaba Bernadette Ngekiwih, a lay assistant of the Apostolate, is the Manager while Gabriel Chenyi is the sales person.
