Sacred Heart College

Colleges

Sacred Heart College  began as an all boys institution on 21 January 1961 with Fr Thomas Mulligan (MHM) as the pioneer Principal. It was officially opened by His Excellency Augustine Ngom Njua, then the Prime Minister of West Cameroon, on 8 July 1965. In 1978 it was permitted to run a second Cycle Arts and Science and it ended 2013 school year with a student population of 880, with 52 teachers and 21 auxiliary staff. Apart from excelling in academics, Sacred Heart students are well known for their sporting talents and discipline.

The following have been Principals since the creation of the college:

Then the Marist Brothers of the School took over the administration of the School
